By juxtaposing portraits, objects and landscapes, Sara A.Tremblay's photographic approach deals with human relationships, and is marked by esthetic and poetic intents. From these personal preoccupations, stems an autobiographical body of work where she often occupies the double role of photographer and subject. In doing so, she creates an intimate space between the viewer and herself, which aims at emotional honesty. This use of intimacy together with the size of the prints can bring out attraction, repulsion, identification, compassion, feelings she hopes to provoke in the viewer.
